The Work
Opened on June 25, 1997, Bar Dancing The Society is a club dedicated to fun and culture.
A place where you can listen to good music, especially rock and creative trends of contemporary pop music, both through presentations of the best DJ's and concerts by bands and artists not only from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, but also other states and countries.
In addition, The Work also opens its doors to other cultural events such as art, cinema and magazine articles, thereby making its contribution to the growth of the city's cultural scene.
Counting on the dance floor, space for concerts and a small gallery, the house has capacity for 200 people.
Your space was designed by renowned architect Fer, which was inspired by the look of a building to form a stripped environment that encourages interaction between people and appreciates the good service and good conduct of cultural events.
In 12 years of existence, the Society was its always busy cultural calendar, hosting more than 3000 concerts and several exhibitions of artists, film screenings, performances, launches of magazines and fanzines, etc..
