Beyond Ipanema
documentary about Brazilian music, is directed by Guto Barra, Brazilian journalist based in New York, and has musical direction by Beco Dranoff, who is behind the Red Hot + Rio and Ziriguiboom label that launched the Bebel Gilberto.
It has holdings of David Byrne, Seu Jorge, Gilberto Gil, MIA, Diplo, Tom Ze, Os Mutantes, Cansei de Ser Sexy, Milton Nascimento, Devendra Banhart and others. The film explores the experiences of Brazilian music outside Brazil.

Workshop Live Images

The workshop will address issues related to the handling of live images.
Through a short historical introduction, through use of software, techniques and tips, students will have an overview of how to work this type of art.
Will also be addressed current issues and techniques for mapping objects, using sensors and construction of custom interfaces.
Though specific, these topics are treated more basic and intuitive, so that all students can follow the development of classes.

Digital Video Workshop / Culture Robot

The workshop is divided into two stages.
On the first day, teams are created in order to visit, learn and record points of interest (pre-defined during the workshop for reference information) using various ways to capture content (cell phones, cameras, camcorders, tape recorders, etc. ).
All content written-learned will be edited with the use of free tools on the second day of the workshop.
